https://www.setlist.fm/setlists/bob-hope-6bd796c2.html  That was the year that legendary comedian Bob Hope appeared at the Bangor Auditorium and reportedly said, in his opening comment, “Are there any more cow barns like this in the area?” It might have been a more apt joke about the 1897 auditorium, but Hope had a reason to crack it: His contract included specifics, including a reclining chair, according to local businessman Bill Miller, but instead Hope got a locker room full of...

Welcome to the fourth insomniac double feature dedicated to ladies of the leaf litter. Any similarity to actual persons living or dead is a shame. The back lot, stock footage and Bronson Canyon adventures begin with a coming attraction and a cartoon. Then Irish McCalla starrs in the low-budget jaw-dropper “She Demons.” The intermission short is chapter 2 of “Panther Girl of the Congo” with Phyllis Coates. Then a hand mirror lures cutie-pie Rochelle Hudson onto captivity in “The Savage...

"Colossus and the Headhunters" is a 1960 Italian peplum (or sword and sandal) movie dubbed and released in this country by American International Pictures. The main character, Colossus, is actually known as "Maciste" in the Italian original, and is played by Kirk Morris, an Italian bodybuilder and actor whose real name is Adriano Bellini. This version is in 16 x 9 Widescreen and has improved color over other copies floating around the internet.

Mystified asked longtime collaborator Seetyca if he would be willing to apply his dark ambient mastery to some trombone sounds. Seetyca rose to the challenge in a very unique way-- he processed mystified's trombone in such a manner that his finished tracks made an exact match with his classic style. All sounds, even the "piano" in "trona picta", are actually derived from the trombone. Mystified was immediately impressed and moved when Seetyca sent him these pieces. He hopes...

"Ghostly Radiance" is a split collaboration between The Ghost Between The Strings and mystified. The Ghost Between The Strings proposed the split, and his tracks are guitar-based ambience and dark ambience, full of moodiness and subtlety. Mystified's half tends to be a bit dronier but is also dark and full of shifting moods. Listening to the tracks together makes sense to the artists, and they hope you agree. Tracks 1-5 are by The Ghost Between The Strings, tracks 6-10 are by...

The Mudcats, Blues Fest House Band. Recorded live at Blues Fest in Jonesboro, Arkansas. The Mudcats formed when we had a slot to fill at Blues Fest.
